While Kelce shared his love for the 1997 video game, where one could create a baseball team and compete in leagues, one baseball team reached out and made an offer involving the real-world sport. The New Hampshire Fisher Cats tagged Kelce in a post on X, with a photograph of a reserved notice with his name placed on a stadium seat. “Reserved for Jason Kelce” was written on the sign. The team also mentioned the player in their caption, reading, “Hey Jason Kelce, if you need something to do, we got you.”
The Fisher Cats are a minor-league baseball team and are double-A affiliated to the major league playing Toronto Blue Jays. The team, which plays in the Eastern League, hinted at Jason’s retirement plans, inviting him to watch their game. Their 2024 season commences on April 9. This invitation might seem out of place, but looking at Kelce’s support for the Phillies last year, it seems like the Cats decided to try their luck.
