Tottenham interested in Premier League midfielder
The first transfer window of the summer slammed shut on Tuesday, with Premier League clubs now having to wait until Monday 16 June to sign players again.Â
This summer the window was split into two in order to allow clubs competing in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup to sign players prior to the start of the tournament.
The window will then reopen on Monday, before shutting as usual on September 1.
Tottenham Hotspur are one of a number of Premier League sides that are yet to make a signing this summer, however that could soon change.
According to CaughtOffside, the North London side are interested in Brentford midfielder Yegor Yarmolyuk.
The report claims that both the Lilywhites and newly-promoted Leeds United are interested in the Ukrainian.

Yarmolyuk, 21 joined the Bees from Dnipro back in 2022 and has since progressed into the first team.
He has now made more than 6o appearances for the West London side across all competitions, including 58 in the Premier League.
It is claimed that Brentford value the youngster at around ÂŁ25 million, however the club are not intent on allowing the player to leave this summer.
The Ukraine Under-21 international is contracted to Brentford until the end of the 2030/31 campaign, however it appears that the Bees could face a battle to keep hold of the central midfielder beyond this summer.
Burnley, Everton and Wolves are also all said to have been monitoring the playerâs situation, while Italian champions Napoli and German giants Borussia Dortmund are also credited with an interest.
The report also suggests that an unnamed Premier League side and La Liga club have both also inquired about the midfielderâs availability.
