Stoic’s new Microsoft-published Xbox and PC game Towerborne is now officially in Steam Early Access. If you’re wondering how it’s doing so far, it’s got a ‘Very Positive’ reception based on the current user reviews.
We’ve also got some launch stats, courtesy of SteamDB – with the all-time 24-hour peak confirmed as 598 players at the time of writing. Keep in mind, this is early access and it seems to already be getting some publicity through word-of-mouth communication on Steam, social media and elsewhere online.
Stoic has also mentioned how it’s aware of some issues where certain players are pushed back to the login screen whenever they enter the world map – with the team already looking into a solution for this problem.
In our own preview of Towerborne here on Pure Xbox, we said this new ARPG with beat ’em up-style gameplay was already looking promising with its fun and addictive formula, colourful artwork and friendly multiplayer.
Will you be joining this new early access as a founder? Or are you planning to hold out for the Xbox and free-to-play release in 2025? Let us know in the comments.
