Ipswich Town have signed big Wales striker Kieffer Moore on loan from Bournemouth.

The 31-year-old previously played for Ipswich between 2017 and 2018.

“It’s great to finally get it over the line because it’s been a long time coming during the window,” he said.

“I remember my first spell here and I’ve gone away and worked very hard on myself during that time, so I’m delighted to be back and can’t wait to get going.

“I was really excited when I spoke to everyone here and now I just want to meet the group, get out on the pitch and contribute.”

closed” and Rashford has “taken responsibility”.

Wolves look like missing out on a striker

With Armando Broja due to join Fulham on loan from Chelsea, it appears the transfer window will close with Wolves missing out on the striker Gary O’Neil was hoping to sign.

That means youngster Nathan Fraser is set to remain at Molineux.

It was thought Fraser might leave on loan for the second half of the season but he gives O’Neil the striking option he will need now.

Cornet on Hammers benchWest Ham v Bournemouth (19:30 GMT)

I mentioned about Maxwel Cornet about half an hour ago.

Well, he is indeed on the West Ham bench for their Premier League game against Bournemouth on the London Stadium.

This is football, so anything is possible I suppose but given the game will finish 90 minutes before the deadline closes, I am guessing that means the former Burnley man will remain a Hammer for the rest of the season.

SMS Message: Speaking as a Chelsea fan, I’m personally really liking the lack of transfer movement during this window. Our owners have treated our football club like it’s a baseball team with their obsession for purchasing and selling players like they’re stocks and shares.
This transactional attitude to our playing staff doesn’t work in football though. Football requires a real team ethos whereas in baseball players operate far more individually (albeit in a team environment). Baseball is far more suited to trading players because it doesn’t negatively affect the team ethos in the same way (watch Moneyball to see what I mean).
FFP may not be perfect, but it’s seems to be forcing Boehly and Eghbali to limit the wheeler-dealing quite a bit. from Gareth

Paris St-Germain forward Hugo Ekitike has joined German side Eintracht Frankfurt on loan until the end of the season with an option to make it permanent.

The 21-year-old joined PSG 18 months ago from Reims, after being linked to Newcastle earlier that summer.

He only scored four goals for the French giants.

Fulham close to Broja loan deal

Fulham have revived their interest in Chelsea striker
Armando Broja and are now expected to secure a loan deal before the transfer
window closes.

The move looked dead earlier in the day when Chelsea’s
demand for a ÂŁ5m loan fee for the 22-year-old they rate in the ÂŁ50m bracket was
considered too expensive and appeared to end any chance of a move to Craven
Cottage.

Fulham manager Marco Silva’s is desperate for a goalscorer,
however, and talks re-opened to revive the switch to take Broja across west
London for the rest of the season, with the expectation that the formalities
will be completed.

Wolves had also been interested in taking
Broja to Molineux but all the indications now that Fulham will win the race for
the Albanian international.

Cornet staying put?West Ham v Bournemouth (19:30 GMT)

Maxwel Cornet has been linked with a number of moves of the past few days, including Crystal Palace today.

The last I heard, it seemed likely he would be staying at West Ham.

We will find out in half an hour whether Cornet is part of the Hammers squad for tonight’s Premier League encounter with Bournemouth at the London Stadium.

It would kill all the speculation if he was included.
