Travis Kelce Finds a Clever Way to Rep Taylor Swift at Cannes Lions Festival

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift may not physically be together right now, but Kelce kept his superstar girlfriend close at hand—literally—while making a stop at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France on Thursday.

Travis, who made the trip abroad with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce in support of the brothers’ podcast, New Heights with Travis and Jason Kelce, sported a pair of beaded friendship bracelets as part of his casual ensemble. Along with his cream shorts, white sneakers, and baby blue-and-white-striped button-up short-sleeved shirt, Travis wore two beaded bracelets, one reading “Cannes,” and the other spelling out “Fearless.” Wait, did he just reveal what era he is? Actually, it shouldn’t be a surprise that he’s a Fearless stan after seeing his impassioned post-Super Bowl lip-sync duets of “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me,” both off that album, with Swift.

The colorful crafts have become a staple of Swift’s Eras Tour, which has crisscrossed the globe since March 2023. In a nod to her song “You’re On Your Own, Kid,” Swifties have adopted the lyric “so make the friendship bracelets / take the moment and taste it” as a command, crafting their own bracelets to swap and collect at the singer’s concerts. (Just ask Flavor Flav.)

As for Swift, the singer is set to begin a three-show run at London’s Wembley Stadium on Friday. Her Eras Tour will wrap up in December in Canada, she confirmed onstage recently at her 100th performance of the record-breaking world tour.

At a panel at the festival, Jason said that it has “been fun” to see the crossover of Swift’s fans and NFL fans since little brother Travis and Swift took their relationship public in the fall of 2023.

“It’s been fun for me, I have three little girls, so in some ways, the show and everything that’s transpired over the past year, has given reasons for girls to get involved in a sport where previously there wasn’t that much interest,” Jason said. While he underscored that the brothers “want to be careful to stay loyal to fans that have tuned in from day one,” they welcome the influx of new listeners over the last year.

“All of a sudden, dads are hanging out with daughters and there’s worlds colliding, and our show gets to be another place where worlds collide, and it’s awesome,” Jason said.

Jason announced his retirement from the Philadelphia Eagles during the post-season, while Travis has made his intention to win three consecutive Super Bowl rings with his Kansas City Chiefs clear. He is due for pre-season training with the team beginning July 23.
