Tucker Kraft injury will leave Packers without top tight end against Eagles
The Eagles will come back from their Week 9 bye and face off against the Packers on Monday Night Football. Vic Fangio may have one less offensive weapon to game plan for, after Green Bay tight end Tucker Kraft was carted to the locker room with a knee injury on Sunday. After the Packers lost to the Panthers, it was reported that Kraft may have torn his ACL and could miss the remainder of the 2025 NFL season.
Through seven games, Kraft recorded 30 receptions for 469 yards and six touchdowns, and was well on his way to having a career high season.
The Packers offense struggled a lot without Kraft on the field, and head coach Matt LeFleur admitted that other guys are going to need to step up if the TE is out long term. Wide receiver Matthew Golden was also injured against the Panthers, so the offense will have some adjustments to make this week. Jordan Love threw for 273 yards and one interception, and finished Sunday’s game with a QB rating of 80.1 — his lowest of the season.
Now, Green Bay will prepare for an Eagles team coming off an extended break, and a Philadelphia defense that has potential to improve.
