Two More Free Demos Have Arrived On Xbox For The Weekend

Including the next Lost in Random game!

What’s going on with the free demos on Xbox at the moment? We’ve seen some great ones recently — PGA Tour 2K25, Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, The First Berserker: Khazan — and now we’ve got two more for the weekend!

The first of today’s batch is the next game in the Lost in Random series – you may have played the original as part of EA Play on Xbox Game Pass. Lost in Random: The Eternal Die looks quite different though, taking the form of an “action-packed, rogue-lite adventure” that bares a huge resemblance to the Hades games. We’re definitely curious!

The other one is called Replay Boys, and it’s a title we featured in our 10 Xbox indie games to look forward to in February 2025 article. This is a visual novel in which you take the role of a band manager and attempt to navigate the chaos that ensues. It’s a cool premise and the Steam reviews are very positive, so it looks worth checking out.

We’ll throw more details about both of these below, and you can find their free demos by searching for them on the Microsoft Store. There’s also a dedicated section on the official Microsoft website that highlights all of them.

Today’s New Demos On The Xbox Store (February 14)
Lost in Random: The Eternal Die

“Lost in Random: The Eternal Die blends dynamic real-time action, tactical combat, and risk-reward dice mechanics for thrilling second-to-second battles. Unravel an original stand-alone story as Queen Aleksandra, the once great ruler of Random on a mission for vengeance and redemption.”

Replay Boys

“Band emergency! This was supposed to be Hannah’s day off, but now she’s been roped into managing The Replay Boys, an up-and-coming boy band. Make choices to stoke multi-timeline romances, keep the band from killing each other, and fight a resurrected ’80s pop star ghost. Can you manage?”
