UFC 306 LIVE
Souza wins by submission in Round 1!
Shortly after a low blow on Jauregui, Souza caught her opponent with a vicious left hook and then locked in a choke hold which saw the lights go out.
Women’s strawweight action next…
Yazmin Jauregui takes on Ketlen Souza
Van wins on points!
The Myanmar star takes the bout on all three scorecards 29-28.
Chairez-Van: Round 3
Maybe unsurprisingly the slowest round of the round. Van with a takedown and some good ground strokes probably enough to take the fight.
Chairez-Van: Round 2
What a round! After a flea in his ear from the traimer, Van came out with devastating body shots which hurt Chairez and slowed him down. It looked like it could be over as blows were landed with CHairez holding the Octagon but the Mexican then landed a brutal spinning back fist to wobble Van. Still looking to protect his body, Chairez looked vulnerable but landed a big jab, then straight right and uppercut which saw Van go down to the floor and Chairez attempt to lock in a guillotine.
Chairez-Van: Round 1
A round of stand up. Both fighters land good shots in the first half of the round with Chairez’s leg kicks having increasing effect as the round wore on.
Chairez-Van up next
The flyweights Edgar Chairez (11-5-1) and Joshua Van (10-2) are next in the Octagon.
Rojas wins on points
He takes the fight via an unanimous decision, 29-28, on all three scorecards.
