UFC 307 Fight Card: Date, start time, fighters, tickets, location and how to watch as Alex Pereira returns to title action

UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira returns to action at UFC 307, just a few months after his last title win in June; this time, it’s ‘The War Horse’ who’s preparing to ride into battle with the Brazilian superstar.

When the UFC is in desperate need of someone to step up to save the main event for an upcoming PPV, there’s one man who continues to raise his hand – Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira.

From the fight card and start time to the location and the story so far, here is everything that MMA fans need to know about UFC 307: Pereira vs Rountree Jr.

UFC 307 will represent Alex Pereira’s sixth fight in just 18 months, and his fourth world title fight in the past 11 months; having already bested both Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka in 2024 so far.

Rountree Jr is currently riding a five-fight winning streak, having finished Anthony Smith in his last bout back in December 2023; although ‘The War Horse’ was controversially suspended earlier this year for consuming a banned substance.

Pennington is riding a six-fight winning streak having beaten Mayra Bueno Silva to claim the title back in January of this year, whereas Pena hasn’t competed since dropping the belt to Amanda Nunes in 2022.

Thankfully, the next contender for the women’s bantamweight title will likely be decided earlier on in the night when 17-1 Kayla Harrison takes on 14-3 Brazilian Ketlen Vieira.

Elsewhere on the card, former UFC champions Aljamain Sterling and Jose Aldo return to action with ‘Funkmaster’ set to face 18-0 undefeated phenom Movsar Evloev, with the ‘King of Rio’ taking on the resurgent Mario Bautista.

There are also several fights that have been reported for UFC 307 but are yet to be added to the official event page, including Marina Rodriguez vs Iasmin Lucindo, Ihor Potieria vs Cesar Almeida, and Carla Esparza vs Tecia Pennington.

As per the ESPN page for UFC 307, the upcoming event will start at 3 PM PT, 6 PM ET, 11 PM BST (Early Prelims); 5 PM PT, 8 PM ET, 1 AM BST (Prelims); and 7 PM PT, 10 PM ET, 3 AM BST (Main Card).

The early prelims will be available to watch via UFC Fight Pass, with the prelims on ESPN and ESPN+, followed by the main card – which requires a PPV purchase order via ESPN+.

UFC 307: LocationUFC 307 will be hosted at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

UFC 307 will be the fourth event to be held in Salt Lake City; having previously hosted Poirier vs Gaethje 2 in 2023, Usman vs Edwards 2 in 2022, and Rodriguez vs Caceres in 2016.
