UFC Abu Dhabi bonuses: Shara Magomedov, Michal Oleksiejczuk win Fight of the Night for 3-round battle

Shara Magomedov is making a habit of collecting bonuses.

“Shara Bullet” made it back-to-back Fight Nights with a post-event award to his name as he and opponent Michal Oleksiejczuk won Fight of the Night at UFC Abu Dhabi on Saturday. It was Magomedov who claimed a decision victory, but both fighters earn an extra $50,000 for their efforts.

This is the undefeated Magomedov’s first Fight of the Night award and second overall after he collected a Performance of the Night bonus for his third-round knockout of Antonio Trocoli at this past June’s event also in Abu Dhabi.

Oleksiejczuk is no stranger to bonuses with his fights rarely going the distance. The 29-fight veteran adds his first Fight of the Night to a trophy case that also includes three Performance of the Night awards.

Saturday’s Performance bonuses went to Joel Alvarez and Azamat Murzakanov, both of whom finished their opponents inside the distance. Alvarez made it 21 finishes in 21 wins with a third-round TKO of Elves Brener, while Murzakanov improved to 14-0 as a pro after finishing Alonzo Menifield with strikes in Round 2.
