On June 28, the UFC hosted another huge International Fight Week capped off by the incredible UFC 317 card which saw Ilia Topuria crowned the new UFC lightweight champion.
And now just a few weeks removed from the monumental event, the promotion has announced a huge new ‘strategic partnership’ with Visit Qatar, which will see the UFC land in Qatar for the first time ever.
This coming November 22, the UFC will host a Fight Night event from the ABHA Arena in Doha, with the card still yet to be announced.

Last June, the UFC hosted their first ever event in The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia, which was headlined by a fight between Robert Whittaker and Ikram Aliskerov.
Talking to reporters in New York City recently, UFC boss Dana White said: “We’ve been in Abu Dhabi for a long time now and we’re starting to move around. Qatar is something we’ve been working on for a couple of years now, and we finally got something done.
“The UFC has been a staple in Abu Dhabi for a long time and I think they’ve looked at Abu Dhabi and seen the success that they’ve had there and then Saudi (Arabia) and Azerbaijan. I’ve been wanting to go to Qatar for a long time and I’m looking forward to it,” White continued.
Fans react as they pick their ideal main event for UFC DohaAlthough it will only be a Fight Night card, with it being the promotion’s first in Qatar, they will likely want to start off their partnership as they mean to go on.
And with that, UFC fans have been predicting which fighters could be in the main event of the historical card.
“Maybe Umar (Nurmagomedov) vs (Petr) Yan,” one fan suggested.
“Umar (Nurmagomedov) vs Suga (Sean O’Malley),” another fan said.
“Belal (Muhammad) vs (Kamaru) Usman,” a third fan reacted.
