UFC Denver: Gabriel Bonfim glad to get back in win column by going distance for first time

Gabriel Bonfim beat Ange Loosa with a unanimous decision Saturday on the main card at UFC on ESPN 59 at Ball Arena in Denver.

“We knew this was going to happen. I’m a striker. I’m a grappler. It’s hard to hold me down. We knew we were going to be able to hold him down.”

“It was great. Three rounds, obviously coming off a loss against (Nicolas) Dalby, I didn’t know what I was going to get coming back in. I wasn’t sure if I was going to win this fight. The fear sets in – it’s annoying. But I’m very happy to be here. Me fighting three rounds – it’s great. I was very grateful. I’ve always wanted to fight three rounds. I’m very happy to get this done.”

“I’m going to be a father. I’m going to be a father to a girl. Hey, give me a performance bonus or something. I’m kind of deserving at this point. I need it.”
