Uncle Murda Releases “Rap Up 2023” Song, Teases Sequel Addressing Diddy
Uncle Murda returns with the “Rap Up 2023,” his annual song recapping the biggest and most salacious moments in culture that occurred in 2023.
For the sixth installment in his “Rap Up” series, the Brooklyn artist uses an instrumental produced by Great John, who flips a sample of Mary Jane Girls’ 1983 hit “All Night Long” for the six-minute track.
“I enjoy doing this sh*t, I might never retire/ I’m part of the holidays now, just like Mariah,” Murda raps at the beginning of the song, before turning his attention to Jamie Foxx’s hospitalization and Blueface’s heated exchange with Soulja Boy.

The “Rap Up 2023” finds the emcee touching on matters of the heart that involved Hip-Hop’s hottest couples, particularly lovers quarrels involving Blueface and Chrisean Rock, as well as fallouts between Cardi B and Offset, and Remy Ma and Papoose.
Murda also takes content creator 1090 Jake to task for gossiping about Black men while addressing snitching allegations surrounding the likes of Gunna, Troy Ave, T.I., Ralo, Finess2Tymes, and others this past year. He then advises Sexyy Red to use contraception during sexual activities and calls out Megan Thee Stallion for her alleged promiscuous nature in light of romantic flings with multiple celebrities, including convicted shooter Tory Lanez.
