Here is the visual:
The anime is being made at E&H production, with Sung Hoo Park of Jujutsu KaisenĀ season 1 and The God of High School helming the project as director. The screenplay was penned by Yamato Haishima, who also worked on the previous anime. Other reprising talents include composer Kenichiro Suehiro and character designer Hideyuki Morioka. david production is no longer the main studio working on it, but it is still involved with the project through ācooperation.ā
As for voice actors, Moe Kahara plays Fuuko Izumo and Yūichi Nakamura plays Andy.
We donāt have an exact release date yet, but it will come out sometime this winter.
Rather than adapting from the already-existing manga, it has manga creator Yoshifumi Tozuka telling a brand new story. In addition to that, there is a brand-new UMA creature, and Tozuka gets credit for designing it.
The TV anime series started in 2023 and concluded in 2024. Itās available for streaming on Hulu.
VIZ Media publishes the manga series and gave this description for the first volume:
Undead Unluck Plot
All Fuuko wants is a passionate romance like the one in her favorite shojo manga. Unfortunately, her Unluck ability makes that impossible. But just as Fuuko hits rock bottom, Andy sweeps her off her feetāliterally! Now sheās become Andyās unwilling test subject as he works to find a way to trigger a stroke of Unluck big enough to kill him for good. However, when the pair discovers a secret organization is hunting them, it puts Andyās burial plans on hold.
Itās also possible to read the manga digitally through the MANGA Plus service.
