Per Stoneâs rep., the singerâs family has reportedly begun planning a public memorial that will be held in Atlanta, Georgia.
At this time, the date and the venue for the memorial have not been set in stone. However, the singerâs family believes it will be a âlarge and star-studded turnout.â Therefore, they are reportedly planning accordingly.
Furthermore, in addition to the public ceremony, Champagne reportedly noted that Stoneâs family is also planning an intimate funeral for the singer. The homegoing service will reportedly be held in Columbia, South Carolina. Additionally, the location is reportedly where Angie Stone will be laid to rest.
Lastly, Champagne reportedly noted that the date of Stoneâs funeral has not yet been set.

More Details On The Recent Passing Of Angie StoneAs The Shade Room previously reported, Angie Stone passed away after leaving a performance in Montgomery, Alabama, on Saturday, March 1. Subsequently, it was revealed that Stoneâs Mercedes-Benz sprinter van âoverturnedâ on Interstate I-65 before being hit by a 2021 Freightliner Cascadia truck.
Furthermore, Stone was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the sprinterâs driver and seven other passengers were taken to the hospital. According to TMZ, Stoneâs rep. has indicated that âspeculation as to how the crash happenedâ has surfaced. However, authorities have yet to share an official report.
