VALORANT Officially Releases On Xbox With Major Game Pass Perks
Time for the full launch
The mega popular tactical FPS VALORANT has been hanging around Xbox for a little while as part of some extended beta testing, but today it’s officially launching on Series X and Series S – available to play for everyone right now.
We had a chance to go hands-on with the Xbox version of this game a few weeks ago and found it to be a great experience, so it’s well worth downloading if you’re interested. Here’s a sample of what we had to say here at Pure Xbox:
“This beta is certainly a solid start, and this is quite different to most console shooters out there for its weapon mechanics alone. It’s going to take us some time to properly learn the game, but with Riot’s might behind it, VALORANT feels like an FPS that’s worth investing in.”
Those who are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass can get a major bonus with VALORANT in the form of all Agents being unlocked on day one. This will continue into the future if you remain subscribed to Game Pass as well. For those who aren’t a member of the service, five Agents will be available at the start, and more can be unlocked.
So yeah, we have a feeling VALORANT is going to become the “Top Free” game on Xbox in the very near future, and you can start enjoying it right now on your Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S! Just in time for the weekend as well…
