‘Vampire Survivors’ Laborratory Update Now Live Bringing In New Stages, Characters, Weapons, and More Ahead of ‘Contra’ DLC

At the recent Triple-I Initiative indie showcase, poncle announced Vampire Survivors (Free) for PS5 and PS4 due this Summer and also detailed the Vampire Survivors ‘Operation Guns’ DLC. This is a collaboration between Vampire Survivors and Konami’s Contra series. It launches on May 9th, but we’ve just had a pretty big free update go live for the game on iOS, Android, Switch, and Steam. This update was revealed alongside the Contra DLC, but we didn’t have details on the contents officially. This new free update titled the Vampire Survivors Laborratory update brings in two new stages, two new characters, two new weapons, one new passive, and more. If you’re curious about the full patch notes with spoilers (be warned), read this. I’ve included some of the names of characters and other things below the trailer. The Vampire Survivors Laborratory update brings in the Laborratory Challenge stage, Santa Ladonna and Gyoruntin character, Carlo Cart Bonus stage, and more in this update. You can use spells to unlock them or unlock them the usual way.
