Legendary boxer Mike Tyson vowed to knock out Jake Paul when their postponed fight takes place Nov. 15.
In a video posted on X, Tyson declared, “Different date, same fate. I’m gonna knock out Jake Paul.”

Tyson and Paul were originally scheduled to clash in an eight-round heavyweight bout on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, but the date had to be moved due to Tyson dealing with some health issues.
Per ESPN’s Andreas Hale, fight organizers released a statement on the decision to postpone, noting that Tyson had an ulcer flareup.
Tyson also released a statement in which he vowed to make the fight happen at a later date, saying:
“I want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding during this time. Unfortunately, due to my ulcer flareup, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover. My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon. Jake Paul, this may have bought you some time, but in the end you will still be knocked out and out of boxing for good. I appreciate everyone’s patience and can’t wait to deliver an unforgettable performance later this year.”
When Tyson and Paul meet, it will mark Tyson’s first official, non-exhibition fight since 2005. He is by far the most accomplished boxer Paul has ever faced as a former world heavyweight champion and with a career record of 50-6, but he is 57 years of age.
Paul is 30 years Tyson’s junior at 27, but his experience is limited, as he didn’t have his first pro fight since 2020.
While Paul boasts a 9-1 record, most of his fights have been against former UFC stars, such as Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz.
His only loss was to a legitimate boxer in Tommy Fury, but he decisively beat boxers Andre August and Ryan Bourland in his past two outings.
The Nov. 15 meeting between Tyson and Paul will be one of the biggest boxing matches in recent memory in terms of fan interest, and it will stream live on Netflix.
