Per TMZ Sports, the custom crown has over 15,000 VVS-clarity diamonds, 27 sky-blue topaz stones and one kilo of gold.
Ice Champ, a celebrity jeweler, created the piece, which he said has an “appraised value close to a million dollars.” He added that “the cost for this would be half a million dollars.”
He added that the crown took 10 days to create. It also “comes with a handcrafted leather treasure chest lined with luxurious velvet,” per TMZ Sports.
This fight was supposed to be for the WBC super lightweight title, but Garcia was three pounds overweight and therefore became ineligible to win the belt.
Haney arrived in Brooklyn with a perfect 31-0 record. Garcia was 24-1 with 20 knockouts.
