Now that Tom Brady is embarking on a broadcasting career as an analyst, he’s free to give his opinion on who he believes are the top quarterbacks in the NFL.
During an appearance on The Stephen A. Smith Show at Fanatics Fest this weekend, Brady was asked who he’d list after Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and he named Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen, two-time NFL MVP and Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson, and Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow as the signal-callers who have impressed him in recent years.
Brady also acknowledged the inclusion of New York Jets veteran Aaron Rodgers when host Stephen A. Smith advocated for him.
Arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history, Brady will make his broadcast debut for Fox during the Dallas Cowboys’ season opener against the Cleveland Browns. He’s been seen doing practice broadcasts during preseason games this summer.
Brady went on to add a caveat that his opinion on the top quarterbacks won’t matter until the 2024 season starts and they get to show who really deserves the top spot.
“I think for all of us, we can analyze before the point. At the end of the day, it’s gonna be up to them to prove to us, right or wrong, whether our decisions, our judgments, our hypotheses about them are right,” Brady said.
