Mixed martial arts fans are used to seeing Conor McGregor in fights, but he helped break one up Friday.

As TMZ Sports shared, McGregor got into the middle of a brawl between Bare Knuckle FC fighters Franco Tenaglia and Tony Soto during their weigh-in ahead of Saturday’s matchup.

Not missing the chance to be a showman, McGregor then held up the title belt after the two were separated.

The incident occurred ahead of Saturday’s main event, which will pit Tenaglia and Soto against each other for the vacant BKFC lightweight title in Spain.

Tenaglia is 3-0 in BKFC and is coming off a victory over James Lilley, while Soto—who was previously a boxer—is coming off a win over Kevin Croom.

As for McGregor, Andreas Hale of ESPN reported in April that he became a part owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships. He has attended different events and was a main part of the action Friday.

He has not competed in the UFC since 2021 when he lost to Dustin Poirier twice in the same year.

While he was scheduled to face Michael Chandler in UFC 303 earlier this year, it was canceled because he suffered a broken toe.

UFC president Dana White said in August that he does not expect McGregor to fight in 2024. In addition to the toe injury, McGregor suffered fractures to his left tibia and fibula during his most recent loss to Poirier.
