Voice Of Reason? Boosie Gives His Thoughts On People “Gassing Up Rap Beef”

Roomies, the last few weeks have been a lil’ tense for some of hip hop’s biggest entertainers! Now, Boosie is stepping in as a voice of reason. On Friday (April 12), he hopped on X (formerly Twitter) and responded to the growing number of rap feuds, in particular.

Here’s What Boosie Said About Rap Beefs
The Lousiana rapper took a moment to also remind folks of the potential consequences behind beefing.

“EVERYBODY GASSING UP RAP BEEF SMH ALL EXCITED SAYING THIS HIP HOP!! WELL EVERYONE N THE CREW NOT GO SEE IT THAT WAY. N WHEN IT POP OFF “IT REALLY GOES DOWN.” SO WHEN SOMEONE FROM ONE OF THESE CREWS DIE, DON’T SAY THEY STUPID SMH GO SUPPORT THEM N COURT LIKE YALL SUPPORTED THE RAP BEEF,” Boosie wrote.

The always-viral rapper asked folks to consider how they’d feel if their family member “died cause of hip hop rap beef.” He added that these escalating beefs could lead to a mother losing her son.

“I’M FROM LOUISIANA EVERY RAP BEEF I’VE SEEN PEOPLE DIE😞 YALL SO HAPPY ABOUT WHO GO WIN R LOSE BUT A MAMA GO LOSE HER SON ✅ n ain’t none of yall going to the funeral smh.”

After The Shade Room shared Boosie’s thoughts, fellow rappers Fat Joe and Lil Scrappy slid in the comment section, agreeing with B.

“I agree with everything Boosie said,” Joe wrote. Meanwhile, Scrappy added, “Boi dat boy on point with this one.”

Plies shared similar sentiments about friends beefing publicly when City Girls’ Yung Miami and JT got into a heated exchange on Monday (April 8) that also roped in Saucy Santana. Plies shared his disbelief at the two childhood friends airing each other out on X.

Despite the insults and accusations of jealousy exchanged, Miami and JT and Saucy Santana and JT made up in private and public hours after things got spicy on X.

JT and GloRilla also got into a lil’ verbal tussle on X that went viral last week Friday. But the women have been hush-hush on it since then, except for GloRilla dodging questions about the Miami rapper at the CMT Awards on Sunday (April 7).

Why Are Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin, A$AP Rocky & The Weeknd Trending?
The simple answer? Beef. City Girls, Santana and GloRilla aside, Boosie’s post seems to follow escalating beefs between Drake and a whole rack of folks.

The feud first became public in late March when Kendrick Lamar seemingly took shots at Drake and J. Cole on Future and Metro Boomin’s ‘We Don’t Trust You’ album. The moment shook the innanet, given that all of these men have previously released projects and singles together. Drizzy low-key clapped back during one of his tour stops, but he hasn’t responded from the studio.

Meanwhile, J. Cole combated Kendrick’s ‘Like That’ verse with a diss track of his own, ‘7 Minute Drill,’ which was released last Friday. Two days later, Cole walked back his slick comments about Kendrick’s recent projects and offered his “brother” an apology.

Kendrick and Drake haven’t publicly responded to Cole’s apology. Joe Budden claimed on a podcast episode this week that both men are about to go “nuclear” on each other with diss tracks that have already been recorded.

In the meantime, Future and Metro Boomin’s second-part album, ‘We Still Don’t Trust You,’ is causing today’s uproar on social media. Hours before Boosie entered the chat, folks online speculated that The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky dissed Drake on the newly released project.

And Then There’s Quavo & Chris Brown
As if escalating beefs between those entertainers weren’t enough, Quavo and Chris Brown are also in the mix. Like Kendrick, both men hopped in the booth to say their piece.

Today, Quavo released the track ‘Tender’ seemingly taking aim at Chris’ past with domestic violence and rumored allegations of drug use.

This followed Chris Brown’s song ‘Freak,’ which was released on his deluxe ’11:11′ album earlier this week. In that song, Chris name-drops the Migos and seemingly uses the word “Cuervo” as a double entendre, referencing the Atlanta rapper’s stage name.

See what else Boosie had to say after folks suggested the entertainers above “ain’t like that,” meaning violent.

And if you think that was it, you’d be wrong. Meek Mill also sparked beef on Monday when he slammed Wale for taking a photo with one of his Philly “opps.”
