Steph Curry has hit plenty of big shots for the Golden State Warriors throughout his legendary career, but recently not all of his late shots have led to wins.

Just a few weeks ago against the Los Angeles Lakers, Curry hit one to tie the game and send it to overtime, but the Lakers ultimately came out on top. A week later, he missed one with 0.1 seconds left in regulation against the Atlanta Hawks that would’ve given the Dubs a victory on a night when Curry scored 60 in a loss.

On Saturday, Curry finally got his game-winner, hitting a deep three to take the lead against the Phoenix Suns with just 0.7 seconds left. The Suns weren’t able to connect on their final shot, and the Warriors walked away with a 113-112 win.

Afterward, Curry was relieved.

“It’s about time I hit a shot that actually got us a win,” Curry said. “Had a couple that didn’t go our way. We needed this one to keep our momentum going. Big win. Let’s get another one.”

Curry was huge in Saturday’s game. The star point guard had 30 points, nine rebounds and six assists, nailing nine threes on the night. The Warriors collected their fourth win in a row and have won six of their last seven. Golden State sits in 11th place in the Western Conference at 25-25.

With more big performances from Curry, the Warriors could sneak into the postseason.
