Watch: First look at Detroit Lions’ black uniforms ahead of ‘MNF’

The Detroit Lions are a Super Bowl contender.

That’s a new reality in Detroit and this new vibe calls for some new threads for the “Monday Night Football” clash between the 2-1 Lions and the 3-0 Seattle Seahawks.

Ford Field is always a tough place to play, but considering the expectations for this team, the big moment on “MNF” and these new slick black-on-black uniforms, Lions fans are undoubtedly going to be in a frenzy.

Here’s a first look at what the fit looked like before the game as Jared Goff and the Lions prepared to run out of the tunnel:

Probably the best part of this uniform is the helmet. Not only did the makers of the uniform go with a darker version of the “Honolulu Blue” for the main color, but the Lions’ logo, which is normally blue, matches the black jerseys.

Win or lose on “Monday Night Football,” the Lions are going to look awesome.
