Ice Spice & Kai Cenat Link Up For Livestream
Kai Cenat and Ice Spice broadcasted together from the back of a U-Haul truck in New York City on Thursday, July 25. The Bronx-bred femcee previously streamed with Kai in August 2023, but they decided to reunite to mark the release of her new ‘Y2K’ album.
Of course, the duo’s stream was filled with several viral moments. One particular incident that stood out between Kai and the ‘Deli’ rapper was when he asked her to freestyle. Kai quickly played an instrumental song, which led Ice Spice decided to turn around and bounce to the beat.
“That was your freestyle?” Kai says after Ice finishes. Although confused, he still applauded and smiled from ear to ear.
Social Media Reacts
Commenters under The Shade Room’s Instagram report were disappointed to see Ice Spice twerk instead of spittin’ bars. Some even suggested that she could’ve opted for another dance move instead.
Instagram user @bonitabillionaire wrote, “He told her to freestyle & she started twerking 😭😭😭”
Instagram user @nini.symone wrote, “She’s corny for twerking anyways😭😭 say a joke or something.”
While Instagram user @lala_camilla wrote, “When he told her to freestyle and she started twerking. These new rap girls couldn’t have survived during the BET awards cyber FREESTYLE sessions. I miss those days.”
Then Instagram user @mheenarh__ wrote, “She gave y’all what she has to offer, no bars just ahhhsss😂”

Ice Drops Visuals With Travis Scott
With the release of her ‘Y2K’ album on Friday, July 26, Ice Spice quickly followed up by dropping the music video for her track ‘Oh Shhh’ featuring Travis Scott.
The music video sees Ice and Travis in certain areas of New York. A clip even sees her transform into the State of Liberty, of course, with her own baddie twist.
‘Y2K’ is currently available on all streaming services. Ice’s debut album includes ten tracks and also features appearances by Central Cee and Gunna.
