Watch John Mulaney’s ‘SNL’ monologue about his kids, parents, and getting old
New stand-up from Mulaney!
John Mulaney hosted Saturday Night Live for the sixth time and, as you might expect, he did a stand-up set for his monologue.
With the presidential election on Tuesday, the show was mostly dominated by politics â Weekend Update and a revived game-show sketch, for instance, both centered on the election â but Mulaney steered clear of political jokes in his monologue. The comic joked mostly about his home life, including his children and parents.
The young parents out there might appreciate a lot about the set, especially an observation about the differences between infants and toddlers.
“Saying, ‘You have a five-week-old and I’ll take a two-year-old,’ that’s like saying, ‘I’ll transport this convict across state lines, you hold a potato,'” Mulaney joked.
