JT Returns To Tour After Arrest
According to TMZ, Justin Timberlake was taken into custody by the Sag Harbor Police Department (SHPD) on June 18. Their initial report suggested that the arrest was related to driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Just a few days after being detained, Justin made his first public statement during his ‘Forget Tomorrow World Tour.’ The ‘Suit & Tie’ singer appeared onstage at the United Center in Chicago on Friday (June 21), addressing his DWI with emotion.

“We’ve been together through ups and downs and lefts and rights and, uh, it’s been a tough week. But you’re here, and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now. I know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you keep on loving me, and I love you right back. Thank you so much,” JT said in front of a cheering crowd.

During his speech, Timberlake humbly acknowledged the crowd’s applause. Afterward, he brushed away tears before encouraging everyone to join him in a sing-along.

Details On Justin’s DWI Arrest
Per TMZ, Justin Timberlake faced charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI), alongside citations for running a stop sign and veering out of his lane, as stated by prosecutors.

According to NBC News, Timberlake claimed he had consumed “one martini” before being pulled over in the upscale Hamptons area of Long Island on Tuesday (June 18), according to police.

Entertainment Tonight reported that police alleged Justin Timberlake ran a stop sign before being pulled over. They also stated officers observed him appearing “glassy-eyed” with the scent of alcohol on his breath. According to the report, Timberlake failed both the one-legged stand and a walk-and-turn field sobriety test. Despite officers’ requests, he allegedly refused to take a breathalyzer test multiple times.

The Shade Room reports that JT was released without bail following his arraignment. His next court appearance is reportedly set for July 26, which conflicts with his scheduled show in Kraków, Poland, on the same day.
