Wendy Williams diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia

Wendy Williams has been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. Her care team shared the news in a statement, saying the daytime talk show host underwent various tests in 2023 after her memory started to fail and she began to ā€œlose wordsā€ and ā€œact erratically.ā€ Doctors concluded her struggles were due to these neurodegenerative diseases.
