Moyes is yet to sign a new contract and he, as well as the board, understand that the fractured relationship between the support and manager will impact his future.

Both managers have been in charge of their respective clubs for many years and they have experienced success, however, it seems their times are up.

They will meet in the dugout one more time before Klopp is potentially replaced by Arne Slot and Moyes’ position is possibly taken by Julen Lopetegui.

West Ham vs Liverpool: What has been said? Klopp has called for Liverpool to be more clinical after failing to score despite having seven shots on target against Everton on Wednesday.

Speaking to talkSPORT after the loss, he said: “I really think we should just try to win football games by playing better, more convincing, using our chances.

“That’s obviously the problem now over the last few weeks, I think that’s obvious. We create, we don’t use them often enough.

“To the end of the season it’s obviously not great because the first thing you need is results, for that you need to score goals, shouldn’t concede, would be helpful as well.

“Yeah, nothing good to say about this today.”
