Beginning the quest for its fifth consecutive NCAA softball championship, OklahomaĀ opens the 2025 regular season this weekend in a highly anticipated California tour.Ā
Oklahoma will play six games across four days against teams from all over the Golden State, marking the third time in four years the Sooners will open up their season on the West Coast. However, this is the Sooners’ first trip out west as an SEC team.Ā
The teams the Sooners will face include: Cal State Northridge, San Diego State, Cal Baptist, Cal State Fullerton, Loyola Marymount and Long Beach State.
Oklahoma has a combined 52-14 record against Cal State Fullerton (9-11 in favor of Fullerton), San Diego State (11-1 in favor of the Sooners), LMU (8-0 in favor of the Sooners) and Long Beach State (14-2 in favor of the Sooners).Ā
Oklahoma has never faced Cal Baptist and Cal State Northridge.Ā Ā
