The last time these two sides faced off, UConn won by 21 points in an 81-60 victory over Villanova. Aaliyah Edwards and Paige Bueckers scored 22 and 21 points, respectively. Lucy Olsen led the Wildcats with 15 points.
Edwards and Bueckers remain the top threats for the Huskies. Edwards averages 18.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, while Bueckers leads UConn with 20.5 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game.
Olsen is a one-woman show on Villanova. She paces the Wildcats with 23.6 points per game and 4.0 assists per game. Forward Christina Dalce leads the team in rebounds with 10.1 per game and chips in with 8.9 points per contest.Â
