What Happens When WoW Pandaria Remix Ends?

When Pandaria Remix Ends, your character will move to retail WoW. But what happens, and what will you gain (and lose) in this process?

Pandaria Remix Ends on August 19th globally, so you don’t have long to get ready. Thankfully, you will get around a week to prepare for War Withing, slightly less time for those who buy the Epic Edition, of course.

But all those weeks of hard work are going to be changing when you move to live, so, what’s going away, what are you keeping and what new stuff is Blizzard giving you when move to Retail?

Pandaria Remix Ends – Now What?
So a lot is going to change when we move to Retail, so let’s take a look at they key things.

Currency
“All items, currencies (except gold), and quests will be removed from Timerunners and their banks during the conversion process, so make sure to spend your Bronze”

TLDR, you’ll lose everything but your gold, and considering gold is not even really something you think about in Pandaria Remix it won’t get noticed. Crucially, your Bronze will go, of course. So, spend what you have on anything you still need to pick up. Nothing here is being transferred into gold etc so spend it.

Gear
All your gear will go, but it will be replaced with a new set. Originally, this gear was due to be ilvl 415, however, Blizzard has now changed that to be ilvl 467. With so little time to play the pre-patch after Remix, this is a great change and puts Remix characters at a strong ilvl going into War Withing. This gear is for people who hit level 70, with lower ilvl gear awarded to characters who are not max level.

This process will “take a few minutes”, and will need to be performed manually by players by logging into each Remix character.

The Rest

Everyone will also get a set of 30-slot bags, and a 26-slot reagent bag. Note that the pre-patch has better versions, so this could be a good thing to get.
Any unlearned Mounts, Toys, or Ensemble transmog sets will be mailed to your Remix character once you move them over to Retail.
You will retain your level
Characters will be left at either Orgrimmar or Stormwind
All gold will be retained, and all characters will get a “Timerunner’s parting pack” which will contain a small amount of gold that scales with level. We assume for anyone who has no “main” outside of Remix.
