‘What The F**k Was Paul Heyman Crying For?’ – Rikishi Takes Wild Shot At Roman Reigns’ Manager
Seth Rollins and CM Punk met in a steel cage match on the March 10 episode of Monday Night RAW to end their long-standing feud. They had previously faced off on Jan. 6 when the red brand made its debut on Netflix, where the “Second City Saint” claimed victory. They also had controversial brawls during the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches.
The Visionary entered the ring with the intention of ending his enemy’s career. However, he, along with the entire wrestling world was surprised by the return of Roman Reigns. After a Superman Punch, a Spear, and a Stomp on “The Architect,” Reigns entered the cage to attack Punk, the man who eliminated him in this year’s Royal Rumble match.
“The Tribal Chief” was provoked to attack Punk after seeing his wise man Paul Heyman, consoling him. What was supposed to be the match to end the feud between Rollins and Punk instead set the stage for a new storyline with Reigns’ entry. Hall of Famer Rikishi recently reacted to Reigns’ return and Heyman’s actions.
Rikishi on Roman Reigns’ Return
WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi recently on the “Off The Top” podcast, reflected on Reigns’ return on RAW. He discussed how Reigns’ return not only brought extra excitement but also boosted the company’s viewership.
“That s*** ready to pop off. Again, it’s another one of the GOATS in The Bloodline. We talk about The Final Boss [The Rock], now we here, we talking about the original Tribal Chief. We all seen it. Did you not see the likes, the ratings of all this? That’s what I look at. When I see anybody in my family come back on the [You]Tube, automatically I see cha-ching [money], cha-ching, cha-ching,” he said.
The WWE legend expected Heyman, who has long been the manager of the Original Tribal Chief, to celebrate his return. Instead, Heyman was inside the cage consoling his former friend Punk. The two were a wrestler-manager duo back in 2013. Here’s what Rikishi had to say about it:
“What the f*** was Paul Heyman crying for in the middle of the ring in Madison Square Garden? You got the money that came back, which is Roman Reigns. That’s your guy you’ve been riding with for four-something years. You didn’t get them damn suits [on your own]. Because you got them suits now, all hail the Tribal Chief.”
Reigns, Rollins, and Punk are likely to participate in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41. While fans are wondering how this storyline will unfold in the coming weeks, some wild theories predict that Heyman could betray The Tribal Chief and reunite with his old friend Punk.
