The Eagles are Super Bowl champions.
At this point in the game, everything was just a formality. The Eagles went into the fourth quarter up 34-6, the defense having just allowed the first points scored against them. It was too little, and far too late for the Chiefs.
This season was an amazing ride. From the lows of the first four weeks, to the Baldianni Era, to the playoffs, and everything in between. We were able to watch one of the most dominant defenses in recent history week in and week out. We got to watch Saquon Barkley operate at his full potential for the first time in his NFL career (Thanks New York). To see Jalen Hurts masterfully operate the offense game after game. This was, without exaggeration, the best all around Eagles team I have ever seen.
Will we come close to matching it next season? My gut says no, but my head doesn’t care. This isn’t about next season, this is about capping off the Eagles second Super Bowl winning season.
The Eagles are Super Bowl Champions, and there is nothing that can take that away from them.

What a ride. The Eagles, in shockingly easy fashion, defeated the two time defending Super Bowl Champions to win Super Bowl LIX. To be the best you need to beat the best. And the Eagles did, belt to ass.
There isn’t much left to say. This was probably the greatest single season of Eagles football any of us have ever had the privilege to watch. A record breaking season for Saquon Barkley. A Super Bowl MVP for Jalen Hurts. The resurgence of our defense. I simply can not think of a better all around season.
I want to give a thanks to BLG and everyone at Bleeding Green for letting me have the opportunity to do this again, especially starting so late in the season.
A big shout out to BGN and the Discord for badgering me until I gave in convincing me to do them again. When I started doing these after TB Eisen (the one true WTS author) left all I wanted was to do one for a Super Bowl win, and I almost missed out on that opportunity. So thank you all. I also want to let you know I read your comments and see your support every WTS and I truly appreciate it (BGN Commentors Appreciation Post).
That all being said, this is it for me.
I’ve enjoyed writing these, and I’m still amazed yous enjoy them too. I’m sure this won’t be the end of the series. Someone will pick up the flag and make it their own, just like I did. This was a memorable season to say the least and this community made it that much better. So, thank you all once again, and for one last time
