What’s the ‘White Lotus’ Season 4 Location? Fans Think They Already Know Where We’ll Be Checking in Next
After a week of toxic friendships, incestuous threesomes, suspicious billionaires, and lots and lots of monkeys, the guests have officially checked out of The White Lotus Thailand. The heartbreaking finale of the third season saw not one but two guests leaving in bodybags—and one very, very close call. Sadly, one of the dominant fan theories wasn’t too far off (but we won’t spoil it).
Most of our questions have been answered, but one big one remains: Which location will feature in season 4?
After all, The White Lotus season 4 has already been confirmed—and apparently the general plot has already been pitched to HBO. (Here we go again!) And some fans think they already know where we’re heading. Here’s what we know so far.
The White Lotus season 4 location
According to show creator Mike White, next season will probably look pretty different—at least when it comes to location. “For the fourth season, I want to get away from the ‘crashing waves against rocks’ vernacular,” he said on an episode of the official podcast after the show’s finale. “But there’s always room for more murders at the White Lotus hotels!”

According to an HBO source who spoke to The Mail on Sunday, “Mike wants to do a series of White Lotus on every continent. He’s done Hawaii and Italy and now Thailand. He hates snow, so the likelihood is Africa or Australia. No one thinks it will be Antarctica.”
In other words, the number one guess is Antarctica. Kidding. Apparently, producers are looking at Four Seasons hotels in both Africa and Australia. Marrakech, Morocco, is thought to be the most likely spot.
“Season four has already been commissioned, and Africa is the favorite,” a source said. “It has everything White Lotus fans expect. Heat, exotic locations, and dramatic backdrops. Marrakech offers heat and intrigue. Nothing has been decided, but Africa is the way Mike is leaning.”
