When is the FA Cup Fourth Round draw? Fixtures, schedule, dates of matches in English competition
Holders Manchester City and three teams from the fifth-tier of English football are among the clubs hoping to be involved when the draw for the Fourth Round of the 2023/24 FA Cup takes place.
At least four Premier League clubs will not be part of the next stage of the competition because they have been drawn against top-flight rivals in the Third Round. They include league leaders Liverpool and title rivals Arsenal, who face one another at Anfield on January 7.
The 24 teams from the Championship join at the third-round stage, at least three of whom will be out by the end of this matchday as a result of games against clubs who are also in the second tier.
While the final 32 in this season’s FA Cup is being decided, here’s what we know so far about the details of the fourth-round draw.

When is the FA Cup Fourth Round draw?The remaining teams will be drawn against each other before 2013 winners Wigan Athletic host 12-time champions Manchester United on Monday, January 8.
Two retired or active players are likely to be on drawing duty, with ex-England internationals Paul Parker, Dave Beasant, Anita Asante and Trevor Steven among the names to have participated in the ceremonies so far, as well as Arsenal star Jen Beattie and former Jamaica midfielder Jobi McAnuff.
Where to watch FA Cup Fourth Round drawThe draw is likely to be available to watch and live stream through the official broadcasters of the match between Wigan Athletic and Manchester United.
As FA Cup rightsholders in the United States,Ā ESPN+Ā will have live coverage of the Fourth Round draw.
ITV will be showing the draw as part of its coverage of United’s visit to their former Premier League opponents, who are 17th in League One, in the UK.
In Canada,Ā SportsnetĀ is the place to follow the draw and the match, while in Australia, it’sĀ Paramount+.
What time is the FA Cup Fourth Round draw?The draw is expected to take place before the Wigan vs. Man United match, which kicks off atĀ 3.15 p.m. ETĀ (8.15 p.m. local time) on Monday, January 8.
That means the draw will likely start aroundĀ 30 minutes before the game.

When is the FA Cup Fourth Round?Fourth-round ties will take place across the weekend of Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January, 2024.
There is a possibility that selected ties could take place on the Friday and Monday either side to allow for television coverage.
As is the case for the Third Round, if games finish level, the away team will host a replay. For the Fourth Round, that will take place in the week commencing February 5.
In the event of teams finishing the replay all square, 30 minutes of extra time will be played. If they are still level, the tie will be settled by a penalty shootout.
