Juventus are back to play Champions League soccer after the Italian giants were banned for one season from UEFA competitions, and they will face PSV at Allianz Stadium. The Bianconeri started off the 2024-25 season with two wins and two draws under new coach Thiago Motta and still haven’t conceded a goal so far. The league phase of the new Champions League format begins on Tuesday. There are now 36 sides, up from 24, and all play eight games before the phase ends in January. The top eight are guaranteed a spot in the knockouts. while the 16 following them will play a home and away playoff to establish who makes the final 16.
