Where to watch NC State vs. Notre Dame today: Live stream, TV channel, time for NCAA women’s college basketball game

A couple of women’s basketball powerhouses meet in a key ACC showdown when No. 6 NC State visits No. 16 Notre Dame on Thursday, Feb. 15.

The Wolfpack bounced back from loss to then-No.16 Virginia Tech with a 83-47 win over Pittsburgh on Sunday.

NC State improved to 21-3 overall and 12-3 in the ACC where the Wolfpack are in third place behind Virginia Tech and Syracuse.

Madison Hayes led N.C. State against the Panthers with 16 points.

However, forward Mimi Collins needed to be helped off the floor early in the third quarter when she got caught in a pile of bodies underneath the Pitt basket. Collins, who finished with 13 points on 6-for-6 shooting, limped to the locker room and there were no updates on the extent of the injury. 

All 12 of the Wolfpack’s available players saw time and 11 scored in the win.

The Wolfpack play three of their next four games on the road starting with the Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame (18-5, 8-4 ACC) picked up a key conference win against Florida State 98-94 in double overtime. It was just the sixth double overtime game in Irish program history. 

Sonia Citron scored seven of Notre Dame’s 10 points in the second overtime period and Kylee Watson came up with a steal in the final seconds to seal the win.

Hannah Hidalgo led the Fighting Irish with 27 points. She missed 18 shots (7-for-25) but made 13 of 14 free throws. Hidalgo finished the game with five steals to give her 118 on the season, which is the program’s single-season record.

Anna DeWolfe, in her first season with Notre Dame after transferring from Fordham, scored a season-high 24 points.

Notre Dame visits Purcell Pavilion for the first time since the it knocked off NC State in February 2022. At the time, the Wolfpack were also ranked third in the nation.
