Where to watch Notre Dame vs. Duke today: Live stream, TV channel, time for NCAA women’s college basketball game
Notre Dame looks to bounce back from a season-low scoring output when it heads to Cameron Indoor Stadium for a date with Duke on Monday evening.Â
On Thursday against NC State, the Fighting Irish scored just 43 points, their worst mark of the year by 14 points. They shot just 27% from the field and 17% from beyond the arc, while Hannah Hidalgo — their leading scorer — fouled out while shooting just 4-of-19 from the field.Â
Hidalgo averages 25.1 points per game, third most in the nation. However, the freshman notched just 10 points against the stingy Wolfpack.Â
Duke is in the midst of four consecutive games against ranked opponents, a byproduct of the rigors of the ACC. The stretch began on Thursday, with the Blue Devils suffering a narrow 61-56 loss on the road to then-No. 12 Virginia Tech; the Hokies outscored by Duke by five points in the final quarter. Â
Sophomore guard Ashlon Jackson led the Blue Devils with 18 points in the loss. Junior guard Reigan Richardson also chipped in 11 points; Richardson leads the team with 11.2 points per game.
This is the first and only matchup scheduled between the two teams this season.Â
