Here’s Why Social Media Is Riled Up
The flick of the singers appeared to spark immediate mixed reactions from social media users, notably on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Some called Kehlani’s actions of “hanging out with Chris Brown” a “slap to the face.” Others demanded a Chris Brown and Kehlani music collaboration.

To note, some users appeared angry about the ‘Get Away’ singer’s link-up with Brown due to comments he made about them in 2016. At the time, it was reported that Kehlani had attempted suicide after rumors alleged they cheated on their then-boyfriend, Kyrie Irving, per the Los Angeles Times.

Brown took to X around the time of reports to share a series of tweets. In one, he wrote, “There is no attempting suicide. Stop flexing for the gram. Doing s**t for sympathy so them comments under your pics don’t look so bad.”
