He had his crew with him while teasing some lyrics and folks immediately caught that he referenced George Floyd, saying, âPut my knee up on her neck, I went George Floyd.âÂ
Well, it looks like Yachtyâs song caught Stephen Jacksonâs attention too. The retired basketball player immediately called him out for disrespecting his friend. Stephen dropped a video on Instagram responding to Yachty, saying heâs trying to do right and focus on his life, but itâs hard to ignore idiots. From there, he went on to drag Yachty, saying heâs âbeen wack,â and added that using George Floydâs name in a verse went too far.
âYou think you saying George Floydâs name and trying to use his name in a bar, thatâs going to make people like your wack a** music, my n***a. That s**t is weak!â Stephen said.
Stephen didnât stop there, he also said Yachtyâs generationâs continued disrespect for the deceased isnât âcool.â He then warned the rapper to never saying Georgeâs name again.
âDonât ever say his name, bro. None of yâall knew G or nothing about him. But yâall want to say his name for [clout]. Cut that s**t man, cause only you wack sambo n****s do s**t like that,â Jackson added.
