This annual recognition is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The ranking which measures companies performance in sustainability among other key metrics is a recognition of Whirlpool Corporations commitment to making a positive impact on communities, consumers and employees. In 2024, Whirlpool Corporation continued reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and began a new collaboration with The Washing Machine Project to bring manual washing machines to low income and displaced communities without reliable access to water and electricity. The company also celebrated 25 years of working with Habitat for Humanity International to help improve lives and increase access to safe, resilient and affordable homes in communities around the world, including a renewed commitment to continue Habitats BuildBetter with Whirlpool program by building an additional 50 net-zero-energy-ready homes in the next two years.

Earlier this year, the company also introduced SlimTech insulation technology, a breakthrough in refrigeration that can deliver benefits ranging from increased capacity and quieter performance to the potential for increased sustainability and design flexibility.
