Who Is Controversial UFC Fighter Sedriques Dumas Girlfriend/Wife?

Sedriques Dumas is slowly but surely making his way up the UFC’s middleweight division. ‘The Reaper’, who lost his first fight in the UFC, has been nothing short of impressive before and after the lone loss on his professional MMA record.

With age and recent form on his side, he has a great opportunity to make a case for a ranked opponent in his fight against the MMA veteran that is Nursulton Ruziboev on the main card of UFC on ESPN 54. Ahead of his bout against the Uzbek, we take a look at ‘The Reaper’s family and girlfriend.

Sedriques Dumas grew up in a rough neighborhood of Pensacola, Florida, where he faced bullying and domestic violence throughout his childhood. A gifted athlete, he harbored dreams of becoming a professional sportsman.

However, a serious knee injury he suffered derailed these plans. This would prompt the Florida native to start training in martial arts and he joined ‘Team Remedy BJJ and MMA’ and took up training in boxing, BJJ, kickboxing, and wrestling before making his professional MMA debut in 2020.

A Dana White‘s Contender Series (DWCS) alumni, Dumas joined the UFC in 2023 and has compiled two wins and a loss in the promotion so far. Supporting him through his MMA career is his girlfriend, Jasmine, with whom he has three children: Leo, Lila, and Landon. While nothing much is known about his girlfriend, the couple went through a rough patch recently, which has landed the 28-year-old in some legal trouble.

Dumas’ recent legal troublesLast month, Sedriques Dumas was arrested and charged with felony battery. This came about as a result of a call the police received from ‘The Reaper’s girlfriend for allegedly repeatedly banging on her door and ringing the doorbell to her home repeatedly in a threatening manner.

After the cops arrived on the scene, they confronted Dumas, who was outside her home. The  UFC middleweight streamed his confrontation with the officers on Facebook Live and could be seen giving his version of the events. He pled innocence and told the cops that he was simply walking down the street to “blow off steam,” denying any wrongdoing. Their argument started getting heated and the 28-year-old was arrested. The case is currently in progress in the courts.
