Who is on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk? Joe Cordina defends world title and ‘next Mike Tyson’ features
Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk’s long-awaited undisputed title clash will be preceded by plenty of big fights on a huge evening of boxing in Saudi Arabia tonight.
The undefeated champions will finally come face-to-face on Saturday night, and there is a stacked undercard.

The Welshman [17-0-0] is still unbeaten as a professional and has blown away all of his opponents.
But Irishman Cacace has consecutively won his last six fights and will feel he can cause an upset and end Cordina’s run.
It should be a great battle between two top contenders on May 18 in Saudi Arabia. However, this isn’t the only title bout on the undercard.

Cordina is a top fighter in his divisionCredit: GettyThe vacant IBF cruiserweight belt is also up for grabs, and Jai Opetaia and Mairis Briedis are the two men competing for it.
Opetaia is a 28-year-old from Australia who boasts a 24-0-0 record, including 19 knockouts.
Meanwhile, Briedis is 11 years older than his opponent and comes from Latvia.
He has been cruiserweight champion three times and is looking to make it a fourth here.
Elsewhere, young British sensation Moses Itauma is back in action.

Briedis has years of experience behind himCredit: GettyThe 19-year-old has drawn early comparisons to Mike Tyson due to his brutal style, with Fury even describing him as the ‘future of the division.’
He last fought in March against Dan Garber, and the young heavyweight demolished his opponent, securing the win inside round one.
His record currently stands at 8-0-0, and he will look to extend that against Ilja Mezencev in front of his promoter, Frank Warren.
There will also be another couple of British fighters to watch out for in Mark Chamberlain and Isaac Lowe.

Itauma is definitely one to watch on the undercardCredit: Instagram – Tyson FuryChamberlain holds a 15-0-0 record as a professional and has been forging a path.
His last fight saw him compete on the Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou undercard, and he knocked out Gavin Gwynne in round four.
Meanwhile, Wahab is from Lagos in Nigeria and holds a 23-1-0, although at 33, he’s much older than Chamberlain.
Lowe is a bit more of a journeyman, having lost twice in his career, picking up three draws as well.
However, he is from Morecambe, Fury’s home, and will look to make it a double win for the town.
Standing in his way is Hasibullah Ahmadi [16-1-0].

Chamberlain is destructiveElsewhere, Sergey Kovalev takes on Robin Sirwan Safar.
Kovalev is 41 now but is a former multiple light-heavyweight world champion.
‘Krusher’ had many of his recent bouts cancelled, so he will be looking to put on a show.
But Safar holds a 16-0-0 record, and the Swede will want to continue that run here and push towards a world title fight.
Also, on the undercard, we have David Nyika taking on Michael Seitz, and Agit Kabayel faces Frank Sanchez.

The undercard is expected to get under way at 5pm UK time, with main event ringwalks around 11pm UK time – that is 1am on Sunday in Saudi Arabia.
