Why haven’t the Buffalo Bills called to check on Hunter Renfrow?

The Buffalo Bills need to find Josh Allen some weapons. While I would love for them to sign a player like Davante Adams, there is one player that is available who I feel can be just as helpful for Josh Allen.

The Bills need to find players that can run routes and get open, and Hunter Renfrow is that guy. How is the 28 year old free agent who went to the Pro Bowl still sitting out there in free agency?

Renfrow is known for his elite route-running ability. His precise footwork, quick change of direction, and ability to sell routes make him a mismatch in the slot. He uses subtle head fakes and body movements to create separation from defenders, especially in short to intermediate routes.

His catching ability is one of his strongest attributes. Renfrow rarely drops passes and is reliable in contested catch situations. He has great body control, allowing him to adjust mid-air to make tough grabs.

Renfrow has a high football IQ, which allows him to find soft spots in zone coverage and adjust his routes based on the defense. He has great chemistry with his quarterbacks, often being the go-to receiver on third downs and key situations.

Though not the fastest, Renfrow is shifty with the ball in his hands. He has an excellent ability to make defenders miss in space and extend plays after the catch. His vision and elusiveness make him effective in picking up extra yards.

Despite his smaller stature, Renfrow is effective in the red zone. His quickness and route-running ability allow him to get open in tight spaces, often used on quick slants, option routes, and screens.

This sounds like a very good player for Josh Allen. Why are the Bills not calling him? Cole Beasley was a very similar player. Renfrow does not talk much and has production as well. He is one of the better route runners in the NFL. Bills what are you waiting on?
