The mid-way point of the 2025 WNBA season means a break for talent and entertainment via the WNBA All-Star Game. Some of the top players face off against one another on July 19, while rookies get to showcase their skills.

This year, the event will take place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana. Caitlin Clark, who plays for the Indiana Fever, will be one of the top stars on the team. Last year, Clark scored four points and had ten assists while teaming with Angel Reese.

Formats of competition for the All-Star Game have varied. It has evolved from East vs. West to the formation of team captains. Last season, Clark and WNBA players faced Team USA, the latter competing at the Olympics that year. This year, it’s back to captains, with Clark leading one team and MVP favorite Napheesa Collier leading the other.
