Who are the favourites?

Morgan Pearson, who won WTCS Yokohama earlier this month, will wear #1 in Cagliari and will be very hard to beat, especially if he comes off the bike in the front pack.

He will be up against Paris gold medal favourites Hayden Wilde and Alex Yee, who will look to re-enact their head-to-head battle from last season, which was won by Yee.

Other contenders for the win include Olympic champion Kristian Blummenfelt, French former world champions Leo Bergere and Vincent Luis, plus Belgian fan favourite Marten Van Riel.
