There only thing wrestling fans like more than great matches is arguing star ratings for said matches.

WrestleMania 40 will give them plenty of opportunities to do that thanks to a jam-packed 13-match card featuring championship clashes, personal rivalries, and two blockbuster main events featuring Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

What might the star ratings look like for each match and what are two under-the-radar stories worth keeping an eye on?

Find out with this preview of the extravaganza.

LA Knight vs. AJ Styles: Months in the Making3 of 4

On the surface, the match between LA Knight and AJ Styles may feel like an afterthought among the other, higher-profile matches on this year’s WrestleMania card. In reality, though, it is one of the bouts with the longest build.

Back in September, AJ Styles appeared to be on a collision course with The Bloodline and Roman Reigns until a sneak attack by Solo SIkoa left him battered and stretchered out of the arena.

Enter LA Knight, whose popularity was undeniable and who fans desperately wanted to see take the next step up the card.

He slid into the main event scene and at Crown Jewel in October, received a shot at Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Styles took exception and repeatedly accused Knight of “stepping over his body” to get a title shot. Weeks of tension between them ultimately led to The Phenomenal One undergoing a heel turn, culminating with him attacking The Megastar and costing him a chance to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.

The feud has intensified since then, with Knight going as far as to show up at Styles house and get arrested.

While the contest does not have the high stakes of Saturday’s main event or a championship on the line, the feud is still immensely personal, with the potential for the company to really elevate Knight with a high-profile victory on the grand stage.

Add to that the fact that Styles will look to show out in pursuit of that show-stealing match at WrestleMania that he has yet to have and there is a very real possibility that this match exceeds all expectations.

The Judgment Day’s Last Stand?4 of 4

It is a very real possibility that The Judgment Day leaves WrestleMania in shambles.

Damian Priest and Finn Balor will defend their undisputed WWE tag team titles in a Six-Pack Ladder Match while Rhea Ripley will defend her women’s world title against Becky Lynch.

Dominik Mysterio teams with Santos Escobar to battle Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee, a decision that caught him heat with his teammates Monday on Raw, and JD McDonagh will appear in Friday’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

It is not out of the realm of possibility that every member of the faction, which has been so dominant for the last year, loses this weekend.

The result would be a faction forced to recover and reassess where it stands.

Does Priest step away and focus his attention on cashing in his Money in the Bank?

What is next for Ripley if she is no longer women’s champion?

Does Mysterio assume control of the group and bring in Andrade to help freshen things up?

If nothing else, the prospects of a devastating WrestleMania create questions about a faction that has steadily been a foundational part of Monday Night Raw for over a year.
