WWE’s Undertaker and John Cena take out The Rock to help Cody Rhodes realise WrestleMania dream
Cody Rhodes finally became Undisputed Universal WWE Champion by beating Roman Reigns with help from John Cena and The Undertaker at WrestleMania.
A frenzied finish to the main event saw the iconic legends return to help fend off The Rock and the rest of the Bloodline to ensure Rhodes secured a hugely popular win in Philadelphia.

With a little help from some of WWE’s biggest legends, Cody Rhodes finally won the top title after defeating Roman ReignsCredit: WWEWWE supremo Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque was then among those to celebrate with the new champ who was lifted aloft in the ring by the likes of Randy Orton, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Rhodes unseating Reigns ended one of the longest title runs in the history of the industry.
Going into WrestleMania Sunday, the former Shield member had held top gold in WWE for a phenomenal 1,317 days.
Many had expected the former AEW star to topple The Tribal Chief at last year’s WrestleMania, only for Reigns to retain thanks to interference by Solo Sikoa.

Reigns controlled much of the opening portion of the match, the second night in succession the duo had wrestled following Saturday’s epic tag-team match that triggered Sunday’s Bloodline Rules stipulation.
Rhodes had kicked out of a Cross Rhodes from Reigns as the champ tried to use the challenger’s own move against him, following up with a low blow and powerbomb through a table.
Jimmy Uso was the first to interfere in the clash, before brother Jey evened up the odds.

The chaos continued as The Rock then entered the fray to take out Cena, the 72,000 crowd then becoming unglued at the arrival of The Undertaker, who menacingly stood behind The Great One before delivering a chokeslam.
Seth Rollins had also been run out of the ring by Reigns in the midst the mayhem, but the madness of it all was enough for Rhodes to notch an incredible win courtesy of a Cross Rhodes.
With The Bloodline finally toppled, Rhodes’ title celebration lasted several minutes as he introduced Levesque, before celebrating further with his family, WWE chief Nick Khan, commentator Michael Cole and fans at ringside.
