Wynn Al Marjan Island opens global recruitment for 2027 casino resort

Wynn Resorts has launched a large-scale recruitment campaign for its upcoming $5 billion Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), which is slated to open in 2027.

Planned as the Gulf’s first legal casino, the property is expected to exceed the size of Wynn’s Las Vegas flagship. Job listings cover management, marketing, IT, and casino operations, with openings for roles such as pit managers, dealers, table operations managers, nightlife planners, and senior marketing leaders.

The operator is also seeking multiple vice presidents in casino marketing to build and expand VIP networks across regions including the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Job descriptions highlight responsibilities like attracting high-value players, working with agents, and engaging regional influencers.

Wynn projects the resort could generate up to $5 billion annually. The company has also secured an additional 70 acres on Al Marjan Island for potential future developments. By Q2 2025, the project had grown to 100 staff members, with plans to reach 330 employees by year-end.

Although gambling remains illegal in the UAE, the federal government established the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in 2023 to oversee regulation and compliance. Wynn’s postings reference strict adherence to these requirements, including monitoring suspicious activity and managing disputes.

This hiring push follows Wynn’s recent land purchase for a potential second resort on Al Marjan Island, underscoring its long-term expansion strategy in the UAE ahead of the 2027 debut.
